7 Steps To Vegan French Toast

Hey everyone! The weekend is here, and you know what that means: a superb, bountiful breakfast! My family recently made quintessential homemade home-cooked french toast, eggs and all. I did not want to miss out on the fun, so I concocted my own vegan french toast recipe that is sure to knock your socks off. Even better, it's only 7 Simple Steps to deliciousness! Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

2 slices of Ezekiel bread
1 tsp. Saigon cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. Agave nectar
1/2 cup  vanilla unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp. Chia seed or flax seed/chia mixture
Handful of stawberries
Handful of blueberries
Toasted coconut
2 tbsp. almond butter

7 Steps To Vegan French Toast

1. Toast your Ezekiel bread in the toaster or oven for about 2 minutes.

2. Combine your almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon nutmeg, and Chia into a large bowl, stir well, and place in the fridge for 10-15 minutes

3. Pull the mixture out of the fridge. Dunk your slice of bread, face down in the mixture, dredge for twenty seconds, and dredge the other side of the slice of bread for the same amount of time.

4. Grab a large griddle pan and add two tablespoons of coconut oil in the pan. Delicately, place your french toast slices onto the griddle.

5. For each side, two minutes should evenly cook the french toast. Pull off the griddle onto a large plate.

6. Cut up your fruit for your delectable breakfast or brunch, and let them adorn the french toast with your almond butter and if desired, toasted coconut.

7. Voila! You have completed the 7 Steps To Vegan French Toast! Enjoy.
